Camping at North Wilkesboro Speedway is one of the best ways to experience race weekend from start to finish. Staying on site keeps you close to the action, reduces travel on busy race mornings, and puts you right in the heart of the event atmosphere. Whether you arrive in an RV or tow a trailer, the Speedway’s camping areas are designed to be practical, secure, and fan-friendly, with easy access to the Fan Zone, grandstands, and key facilities.
Lot B is a dry camping area located just outside the Speedway’s main entrance, right next to the Fan Zone. Its position makes it one of the most convenient camping options, with easy access to pre-race entertainment, merchandise areas, and the track itself.
The campground is suitable for RVs, fifth wheels, and travel trailers, with each campsite measuring approximately 20 × 45 feet on a grass surface. Every campsite includes one tow vehicle pass, and additional camping passes are issued and collected on arrival. Dedicated tow vehicle parking is located nearby, close to Lot C.
Although Lot B does not offer full hook-ups, water and pump-out services are available for an additional fee, and showers and security are provided on site. To ensure a comfortable stay for all guests, quiet hours are enforced from midnight to 7:00 am.
Getting there
Approach Lot B via Old US 421 Road / Speedway Road.
At the entrance, a camping attendant will check your credentials and escort you directly to your assigned campsite. If you reach the main Speedway entrance or pass both the pond and the go-kart track, you’ve gone a little too far.
Overall, Lot B offers a well-located, easy-access camping experience, ideal for fans who want to stay close to the Fan Zone while enjoying a relaxed campground atmosphere throughout race weekend.
