RULES FOR VISITORS

The grandstand is positioned at the exit of Curva Parabolica, offering a great view as the cars power through the final metres of the circuit and head towards the pit lane entrance – a clear advantage compared to section 23B, which offers a more limited view.

As with all NASCAR events, fans attending the NASCAR Cup Series race at Phoenix Raceway must comply with the venue’s rules and regulations. Security personnel will be present throughout the weekend to ensure everyone enjoys a safe and comfortable experience.

Prohibited items

For the safety and comfort of all guests, certain items are not permitted inside the facility. Anything that could pose a safety risk, disrupt the event, or cause inconvenience to others is strictly prohibited – this also includes unauthorised resale of tickets or merchandise.

All visitors will be required to pass through security screening upon entry. Anyone refusing inspection may be denied access without a refund. To avoid issues at the gate, it’s recommended to review the Speedway’s official list of prohibited items before arriving. Some of the most common restrictions include (please note this is not a complete list):

• Aerosol cans (except sunscreen, sunblock, hand sanitizer, and bug spray).
• Alcoholic beverages.
• Bags, backpacks, or containers larger than the permitted size.
• Collapsible chairs.
• Coolers – foam or hard-sided, any size.
• Displays of the Confederate flag.
• Dry ice.
• Fireworks.
• Frisbees, balloons, beach balls, or other throwable/projectile items.
• Glass or ceramic items.
• Illegal substances of any kind.
• Laser pointers.
• Noise makers and air horns.
• Obscene or indecent clothing.
• Seat cushions containing metal components.
• Skateboards, hoverboards, roller skates, scooters, and bicycles.
• Tripods, monopods, and selfie sticks (solid or collapsible).
• Unmanned Aerial Vehicles (UAVs) / drones.
• Wagons.
• Weapons – firearms, knives, and any other items restricted by local, state, or federal law (includes pocket knives).

What you can bring

To make your NASCAR Cup Series race weekend as smooth and enjoyable as possible, travel light and bring only what you really need. Essentials include your phone, a portable charger or spare camera batteries, some cash, and your race tickets for each day. Adults should carry a valid photo ID, and it’s a good idea to have identification for any accompanying children as well. Keeping your bags minimal helps speed up security checks – meaning less waiting and more time to enjoy the action on track.

Items permitted inside Phoenix Raceway:

• Bags – maximum of two (2) per person permitted through the admission gates.
• Backpacks, diaper bags, clutch bags, and fanny packs – allowed if they do not exceed 18” x 18” x 14”.
• Cameras, binoculars, scanners, and headsets may be worn over the neck, on a belt, or carried inside one of the allowed bags.
• Cigarettes and lighters.
• Flags – nationality flags attached to a pencil-sized wooden stick (must not block another fan’s view).
• Ice.
• iPads, tablets, and laptop computers.
• Insulated cups – up to 64 oz, must be empty upon entry.
• One (1) soft-sided cooler per person – maximum size 14” x 14” x 14”, may contain ice.
• Pre-packaged and sealed food and non-alcoholic beverages – must be inside a clear bag or soft-sided cooler (glass and alcohol are prohibited).
• Seat cushions – permitted if they do not contain metal components.
• Service animals.
• Sunscreen, sunblock, hand sanitizer, and bug spray – allowed in aerosol, gel, or liquid form.
• Combination rule – guests may bring any mix of the above items, except that only one soft-sided cooler is permitted per guest.
